GBA LEADER (GENERAL MANAGER)- VERTEXSA, KENYA

This role will require general management of a region in East Africa, where the successful incumbent will be responsible for aligning GBA strategic deployment to corporate vision and strategy for Kimberly-Clark in Kenya.
A strong focus is required to develop and maintain effective relationships with key customers within the region while also focusing on Brand Management. Ensuring that business management standards and controls are applied across all aspects of the business, together with compliance with all corporate controls, will be major drivers in the business. Take responsibility for Trading Strategy development and execution of both Trading Strategy and Brand Operating Plan and
achievement of business targets.

This position requires a 3-year tertiary qualification (Bachelors degree/diploma – commercial base essential). Proven track
record of delivering business results and successful team development and management, together with experience gained in a
senior-level role in areas such as Customer Management, Sales Operations, Finance and Marketing will be needed.
Meeting the following additional requirements will be highly advantageous:

Setting up a business/operating in East Africa; FMCG knowledge; experience working in a large multinational organisation.Key
Performance Indicators include: People(Direct Reports, Indirect Employees), Financial, Brand (MarketShare), Functional Responsibility(Customer Management, Brand and Trade Marketing).

KEY INTERFACES: SSA Management team, Regional Management team, Local business and functional teams, Third party Business
